Yes, they are still compliant.
The 2025 update to ASTM F1897 does not introduce any changes to the core performance requirements of the standard. The only addition is an appendix that relates to how chainsaw PPE performs when used with battery-powered chainsaws.
Because of this, no changes have been required to the design, materials, or construction of our products to meet the 2025 edition.
We are currently in the process of updating our UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certification to reflect the 2025 version of the standard.
In the meantime, products labelled to ASTM F1897-20 remain fully compliant and continue to meet all required safety performance standards.
