Chainsaw protection works by using specially engineered fibres that pull out and clog the chain and sprocket on contact, helping to reduce the severity of an injury. This mechanism works the same way regardless of whether the saw is battery or gas powered.
As long as the garment is certified to the relevant standard, it will provide protection when using an electric chainsaw.
