Can I glue a patch on my chainsaw pants or chaps?
We don't recommend this as it is very risky. The glue may reach the chainsaw protective fabric and bind the fibres. The fibres need to be able to easily pull out to stop the chainsaw, but if they are held in place by the glue, the chainsaw will just cut through the fibres. -
Can I repair my chainsaw pants and chaps?
Yes. The important thing is to sew only through the outer layer, never through the chainsaw protective fabric. See this video for instructions. -

How often can I clean chainsaw chaps/pants?
You can clean them as often as you like. Regular washing is important to correct maintenance and long life. We even recommend having two pairs so one pair can be washing/drying while you wear the other pair. -
How should I remove pitch and sap from my Clogger gear?
Pitch and sap can be removed by gently scraping off as much as you can without touching the fabric and then apply rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball until it lifts off.
